The owner of and SME is usually doing it alone, or as a family. There is little time to keep up with developments in their own industry, let alone business practices that may apply to them.

An SME Business Strategist is a networker. They are people who see and hear about what is going on in business generally and can apply new ideas (and some old ones) to their client’s business.

They can use basic business methodologies and will know other firms that can assist with specific services, but they can clearly cut through the thousands of ideologies to give your business direction that targets your requirements and goals.

To summarise, an SME business strategist works on your business, while you work in it. They are not caught up in the day to day operation and can therefore plan for your business future.
